    Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will be there to welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our staff members will be holding a nameplate with your name outside the arrival area. They will assist you and transfer you to a comfortable 3-star hotel (bed & breakfast). Check in to the hotel and we will have the first group meeting with your guide in the hotel.
Our guide will provide a city tour to historical places such as Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. To begin with Patan Durbar Square it is in the heart of Lalitpur, Nepal, a historic site that reflects the rich cultural and architectural heritage of the region. The Durbar Square enclosed by uniquely designed temples and courtyards is a highlight with a blend of Hindu and Buddhist artistry. The next destination Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples and holds great cultural and religious significance. The temple compound is not only a significant religious site but also serves as a spot for Hindu cremation rituals. Finally, the last stop Boudhanath is one of the most sacred and significant Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. The stupa, with its iconic mandala design and all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, stands as a symbol of enlightenment and peace.
On day three we begin our journey in a 4x4 jeep to Phaplu. We start our trip around 5:00 AM and reach Phaplu in 8-9 hours. We travel along the BP Highway, a mountain road that runs alongside the scenic Sunkoshi River until we reach Ghurmi. Afterward, we will reach Patale Danda, with an elevation of 2,840 meters. From Patale, the first breathtaking view of Mt. Everest unfolds. We will have an overnight stay in Phaplu.
In the morning, we will take a 4–5-hours local jeep ride to either Kharikhola or Bupsa. Our trek begins at the last spot, and it will take 2-3 hours to reach Paiya.
The trek from Paiya to Phakding takes around 6-7 hours. The trekking route is mostly uphill and downhill passing through beautiful sherpa villages such as Surke, Chaurikharka, Chheplung, Thado Koshi and Ghat. You can enjoy the view of green pine forest, colorful villages, Dudh Koshi river, and suspension bridges. Along the way, you will encounter local animals like mules and yaks, enhancing the overall trekking experience.
The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is an extensive 8-9 hours of journey, leading trekkers through small villages like Tok Tok, Bengkar, Monjo and Jorselle. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy the scenic beauty of pine forests and a glimpse of majestic peaks like Kongde, Thamserku and Kusumkhangru. If the weather is promising, trekkers may catch their first glimpse of Mount Everest on the way. Hiking through the stunning suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary/Everest bridge, and conquering steep hills, trekkers eventually arrive at Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the Everest region. Trekkers must walk slowly specially after lunch where you start climbing around five hundred meters to Namche.
This day is to rest for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. You have the option to explore the town or take a 2–3-hour hike to Everest View Hotel and Syangboche for spectacular mountain views, including Mt. Everest (8848.86m) and Mt. Lhotse (8516m). Along the way, you will pass Syangboche airport and enjoy a tea break with a magnificent view of Mt. Ama Dablam (6814m). Once you descend to Namche it will be a refreshing time for you to have lunch, take a shower, and your guide will lead you to a good bakery for delicious dessert and coffee. You may consider buying souvenirs in Namche on your way down from Everest Base Camp, as there will be a short stop there.
We will begin our trek to Tyangboche right after breakfast, passing through charming villages like Kyangjuma, Lausasha, and Phungi Thangga. We will stop for lunch at Phungi Thangga which will provide us with a well-deserved rest before we continue our journey, surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature, especially the vibrant Rhododendron Forest (March and April offer a spectacular display of rhododendron flowers). After a 5-6 hours hike, we will arrive at Tyangboche (3860m) and check into the hotel. Following a short rest, we will visit the Tyangboche Monastery, where the monks' chanting creates a refreshing atmosphere. You may take your time to meditate and soak in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, we can enjoy a beautiful sunset with stunning views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Everest.
We will wake up early, set ourselves with warm clothes, and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise against the backdrop of majestic mountains. After breakfast, we will start our trek to Dingboche (4330m). Along the way, we will pass through the historic Pangboche village, where you can discover the region's oldest monastery, Pangboche Monastery. Do not forget to check out the Yeti Skull and obtain permission to capture an image of this unique moment on camera. Enduring our journey, we will reach Somare, where we will take a lunch break while observing the incredible view of Mt. Ama Dablam. The trek to Dingboche presents a challenge as we ascend above the tree line, but the stunning landscapes make it a truly gratifying experience.
We will have a free day at Dingboche for acclimatization. After breakfast, there is an option for a hike to Nangkarsang Peak (5130m). If that feels too challenging, the guide can take you for a hike up to 4750 meters and then return to Dingboche. It is essential to note that there is a shower facility at Everest Base Camp, but places like Lobuche and Gorakshep do not have such amenities. Getting a good night's sleep and ample rest is crucial before reaching higher elevations for our upcoming camps.
The trek to Lobuche is around 5-6 hours, making it a short day. However, it involves an ascent of almost six hundred meters. We can take enough breaks to enjoy the splendid mountain sights along the way. Our lunch and tea break will be at Thukla. At this location, we will come across climber’s memorials, including those dedicated to Rob Hall, Scott Fischer, Babu Chhiri Sherpa, and others who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. As we pay our respects to the departed, we continue our trek towards Lobuche.
We begin our trek to Gorakshap right after breakfast, early in the morning. It takes about 3 hours to reach Gorakshap at an elevation of 5,180m. On the same day, we will continue our journey to Everest Base Camp, a 5–6-hour trek from Gorakshap. After arriving at Gorakshap, we will check into the hotel, have lunch, and then leave for Everest Base Camp. Congratulations! You are now standing in the heart of Mt. Everest Base Camp. Please capture the moment with photographs and relish yourself with the magnificent views of Khumbu Icefall, Khumbu Glacier, and the surrounding mountains. As we prepare for the next day's adventure to Kala Patthar, it is crucial to get enough rest and conserve energy overnight. So, rest up and get ready for the splendid sunrise views at Kala Patthar the next morning.
We will begin our trek early in the morning at 5 AM to climb Kala Patthar at 5545m for the best view of Everest. It takes about 3-3.5 hours to reach the top and return to Gorakshap. During this early morning trek, you will have the chance to witness the beauty of stars, the Milky Way, and even catch few shooting stars. We will ascend slowly, enjoying the journey, and finally reach the spectacular viewpoint from Kala Patthar. Take in the mesmerizing views of Mt. Everest, the South Col, Mt. Pumori, and the sun-kissed mountains. Capture these moments with pictures and then we will head back to Gorakshap. Upon returning, we will have breakfast, pack our bags, and begin the trek to Pheriche. The trek to Pheriche takes around 5 hours, and now the trail mostly descends, making it a more comfortable journey. As we descend, you will start feeling better. In the evening, you can rest and enjoy a good night's sleep, preparing yourself for the adventures yet to come.
We will trek back to Namche at 3,440m, and the journey takes around 6-7 hours. After having breakfast, we will follow the same route back, with familiar views from our earlier ascent. Descending back into the tree line, you will find the air more refreshing, making it easier to breathe. The day involves a mix of difficulties, providing a diverse trekking experience. Once we arrive at Namche Bazaar, you can enjoy the evening in the lively mountain town.
The next trek is to Muse at 2,530m, and the journey lasts about 6-7 hours. Since it is the return trip, the pace tends to be faster and more comfortable. Hiking downhill from Namche Bazar there is a huge descent to the Hillary Bridge. As we cross bridges and pass through Sherpa villages, you will witness the charming local life. Muse, a small Sherpa village, marks the end of our trek for the day.
We will trek to Bupsa today, and the journey takes about 4-5 hours. After reaching Bupsa, we will ride on a local jeep for a drive to Phaplu. This marks the end of our trek, and it is time to bid farewell to our resolute trekking porters.
We will be heading back to Kathmandu from Phaplu, and while there is an option to take a flight, we cannot assure due to weather uncertainties. The more reliable option is a scenic 8-9 hours’ drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu. This marks our final evening in Kathmandu, concluding our memorable journey.
Today is the departure day, and check-out is at 12 noon. Our driver will take you to Kathmandu International Airport according to your flight time. If you plan to extend your stay in Kathmandu or elsewhere in Nepal, please let us know, and we will be happy to arrange your accommodations. Safe travel!
